Blevins FFA chapter

The National FFA Week is an annual holiday that occurs for a week in February starting from February 18th to 25th this year.
National F.F.A. Week was initiated by the National Future Farmers of America Organization — a youth leadership organization, and one of the largest in the U.S., to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
Today we are going to highlight the Blevins School District FFA Chapter.
FFA Advisor of the Blevins FFA Chapter is Larry Green, President Cadence Smith, Vice President Eric Lacefield, Secretary Dixie Beard, Treasurer Elathy Hargraves, and Student Rep Kristina McKenzie.
President Cadence Smith explained what it means to her to be in FFA.

FFA Advisor Larry Green discussed the Girl Power to the Max Program and what it entails.

Secretary Dixie Beard said she’s been a part of the Blevins FFA chapter for a year and she shared how FFA made an impact on her life.

Vice President Eric Lacefield shared the agenda they have for FFA week along with what contests he competed in, and he gave a special thanks to his family for getting him started in agriculture.

Tomorrow will highlight the Murfreesboro School District FFA Chapter.
