A Mineral Springs resident has been sentenced this week to four years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. 21 year old Royce Lanicek is accused of selling suspected Meth Cocaine in an undercover operation earlier this year in Nashville. In addition to the prison sentence, Lanicek was also given a 4 year suspended sentence.
Trial dates were set Wednesday in a pair of other cases. 31 year old Demario Scoggins of Mineral Springs is scheduled for a February 25th trial date. He is charged with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting at vehicle while traveling on Highway 27 South of Nashville.
28 year old Macon Sullivan of Dierks has been set for a March 31st trial date on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance–Hydrocodone pills. Sullivan’s arrest was part of an undercover operation conducted by law enforcement earlier this year in the Dierks area.
