Howard County Drug Charges

A search and seizure warrant led  to felony charges being filed against two people yesterday in Howard County Circuit Court.  Personnel from the 9th West Drug Task Force and Howard County Sheriff’s Department served the warrant at a Golf Links Road residence belonging to 55 year old Amanda Willis.  Inside the home, authorities say they recovered a substance believed to be methamphetamine, two digital scales and assorted drug paraphernalia items.  Willis was arrested at the residence and has been charged with Possession of methamphetamine with purpose to Deliver and for possessing drug paraphernalia.  Her bond was set at 25 thousand dollars.
Officers said they also detained 55 year old Christopher Willis of Hope at the home.  While conducting a search of his person, authorities said they recovered a small baggie containing suspected methamphetamine from Willis’ pants pocket.  He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and had bond set at five thousand dollars.
