Howard County Extension Office Hosting Applicator Training Friday

The Howard County Extension Office will be hosting a Pesticide Applicator Training for Private Applicators tomorrow, beginning at 9 a.m.

The training will take place at the EH House, located at 425 North Second Street in Nashville, and the cost to attend is twenty dollars.

Pesticide applicator training is designed for individuals who apply restricted-use pesticides on their own land or as part of an agricultural operation. The course provides instruction on safe handling, proper application, storage, environmental protection, and state regulations, and is required for private applicators to become licensed or to renew their certification.

The training helps ensure pesticides are used safely and responsibly, protecting applicators, crops, livestock, and the surrounding environment.
