Howard County Livestock Club to Host Lucky Clover Showdown Jackpot Show This Weekend

The Howard County Livestock and Teen Leaders Club will welcome exhibitors from across the region this weekend for the Lucky Clover Showdown Jackpot Show at the Howard County Fairgrounds.

The two-day event will be held Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, featuring livestock competitions and opportunities for young exhibitors to showcase the animals they have worked with throughout the year.

Howard County 4-H Teen Leaders recently spoke about the event and what attendees can expect.

Cody O’Brien said proceeds from the event help support the Howard County Livestock Club and its programs.

He also discussed the valuable life skills students gain through participating in livestock shows, including responsibility, leadership and work ethic.

Lily Trombley explained what a jackpot show is and discussed the prizes that will be awarded.

Trombley also shared the number of livestock entries already registered for this year’s event.

Emmie Trombley highlighted the activities scheduled for Friday as exhibitors arrive and prepare for the competition.

Asher Howard concluded by recognizing the businesses, organizations and individuals whose sponsorships help make the event possible.
