Howard County Relay For Life Raises over $37,000

The Howard County Relay For Life hosted its annual event on Saturday. After all donations are turned in, fundraising efforts should total around $40,000 this year. Event Chair Joanna Howard reported that the top fundraising team is Husqvarna with around $17,000, followed by Tyson Foods and Fishing For a Cure. Students at Nashville Junior High School have also contributed over $500 through fundraisers. Cancer survivors Creed Foster and Lily Burton spoke at the event about overcoming cancer.
