Howard County Resident Named Student of the Month by Statewide Scholarship Fund

A Howard County resident is being recognized by a statewide nonprofit for her hard work, determination, and academic success.

Miracle Haislip has been named the Student of the Month by the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF), an organization dedicated to helping single parents pursue higher education and create brighter futures for their families.

Haislip recently graduated from Cossatot Community College as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), finishing in the top three of her class. She is now employed locally and focused on building a better life for herself and her 2-year-old daughter.

ASPSF highlighted Miracle’s dedication to her education and her role as a parent, noting her as an example of the strength and perseverance shown by scholarship recipients across the state.

The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund supports eligible single parents with financial assistance, mentoring, and career coaching as they pursue degrees or certifications to improve their family’s future.
