Howard County Trash Routes Adjusted Due to Incoming Snowstorm
With a snowstorm expected to impact the area this week, Howard County officials are adjusting trash pickup routes to ensure waste collection is completed before the storm hits.
Per Howard County Judge Brent Pinkerton, Thursday and Friday’s rural trash routes will now be picked up on Thursday, January 9th, 2024. Residents are urged to place their trash out by 7 a.m. sharp to ensure it is collected before the storm arrives.
To expedite the process, additional personnel will be helping with these routes, so timely placement of trash is crucial. The county is taking these steps to ensure that waste collection is completed safely and efficiently ahead of the inclement weather.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed about any further changes and to take necessary precautions as the storm approaches.
