Howard Memorial Hospital Board

Howard County Hospital board met Tuesday evening. In this meeting CEO, Debra Wright, shared with the board the increase of local COVID-19 cases that the hospital has seen. While early June there seemed to be a lul in COVID intakes, Wright said over the past week that trend has slowly begun to shift. Howard Memorial Hospital is currently treating patients with the virus and continues to practice state & federal guidelines to prevent and minimize transmission. In other news for the Hospital a quote is being drawn to replace the carpeted areas of the hospital and surgical services department with antimicrobial flooring as these areas have not had flooring replaced since the hospital opened.
