Howard Memorial Hospital Board Meeting
The Howard Memorial Hospital board of directors met Tuesday evening. Chief Financial Officer Bill Craig informed the group that the hospital was starting its 2020 fiscal year on a positive note.
In Debra Wright’s Chief Executive Officer report, she reported the hospital has received a proposal for the management and implementation of Cardiac Nuclear Medicine. Dr. John Hearnsberger stated Cardiac Nuclear Medicine would be a nice addition to the hospital’s current General Nuclear Medicine services.
Wright also reported the hospital’s Chief Nursing Officer, Alesha Collins, has been asked to serve on the board of the Arkansas Center for Nursing.
Kim Turberville reported employees of Howard Memorial Hospital participated in Certainteed’s Safety Day, Tyson’s Health Fair and taught 99 participants the Stop the Bleed program.
Beth Schooley reported Howard Memorial Hospital will be included in a Whitepaper study concerning the importance of critical care hospitals in treating sepsis.
