Hwy 278 Accident Claims Life of Woman from Rosston

Arkansas State Police released a report yesterday involving yet another accident on Highway 278 – this time near Hope. This accident claimed the life of 84 YO Syble McAteer of Rosston on Friday at approximately 2:46 PM. The report provided by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety reads that a 2008 GMC Sierra occupied by 23 YO Jessie Ryan of North Little Rock and 35 YO Faith McAteer of Rosston, were traveling westbound on Hwy 278 and crossed the centerline colliding with Syble McAteer’s 2019 JEEP which was travelling Eastbound. Occupants of the GMC Sierra were taken to a hospital for their injuries. The report also states that conditions at this time were clear and roads were dry.
