Industrial Properties in Nashville Sold for $14.5 Million Amid Husqvarna Plant Closure

A trio of industrial properties in Nashville has been sold for $14.5 million, with the transaction completed on Wednesday, July 24th. The properties, formerly used by Husqvarna for manufacturing and warehousing, were sold in the wake of the company’s July 2023 announcement of its plant closure and the layoff of approximately 1,000 employees.

The properties involved in the sale include:

  • A 274,328-square-foot climate-controlled manufacturing facility located at 1 Poulan Drive.
  • A 350,000-square-foot Class “A” distribution center, built in 2018, at 630 Hwy. 27 Bypass.
  • A 132,320-square-foot building at 139 Old Airport Road.

Colliers | Arkansas’s Clark Irwin and Jim Irwin, in partnership with Savills, represented Husqvarna Consumer Outdoor Products N.A., Inc., the seller. The purchasing entity, Phoenix AR Industrial/LLC, managed the transaction without external representation.

The new owners have not yet disclosed their plans for the acquired properties.
