Investigation Continues Into Nashville Fire

All shifts at the Tyson Foods processing plant in Nashville returned to their normal work schedules Friday as officials continued to investigate the cause of Thursday morning’s fire which resulted in injuries to a pair of Tyson employees.

Fire departments from Nashville, Mineral Springs, Centerpoint, County Line and Yancey were dispatched to the plant around 2:00 AM Thursday and arrived to find the facility’s boiler room was fully engulfed.

The investigation is continuing into what caused the possible explosion and fire.
