Jr Scrappers fall to Jr Badgers
The Nashville Junior Scrappers suffered their first loss of the season Thursday night at Arkadelphia, losing to the Badgers, 38 to 26. Arkadelphia started the scoring on the first play, returning the game’s opening kick off for a touchdown. With just over 3 minutes remaining in the first period, the Scrappers put their first points on the board, a touchdown from Trey Hopkins.
At half, the Junior Badgers held a 32 to 20 lead. The teams traded touchdowns in the third period, with no points scored in the final quarter.
Next up, the Junior Scrappers will have a home game next week against Bauxite.
