Junior Scrappers Dominate Magnolia to Stay Undefeated

The Nashville Junior Scrappers continued their strong start to the season Thursday night with a commanding 35-8 victory over the Magnolia Junior Panthers, improving their record to 2-0.
Nashville got off to a hot start in the second quarter, scoring a touchdown and converting the two-point attempt to go up 14-0. Magnolia answered with a touchdown of their own and added two points to close the gap to 14-8 heading into halftime.
In the third quarter, the Junior Scrappers struck again as #2 Bo Dean found the end zone. The extra point attempt was no good, but Nashville extended their lead 20-8.
The momentum carried into the fourth quarter, where Jacarri Starr broke through for another Scrapper touchdown. A successful two-point conversion made it 28-8.
Nashville capped off the night with one final touchdown and a good extra point to seal the win at 35-8.
The Junior Scrappers will look to keep their undefeated streak alive this Thursday as they return home to take on the Dardanelle Junior Sand Lizards. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m and you can catch all the live action on B 99.5.
