Junior Scrappers Stay Perfect with 31-6 Win Over Dardanelle

The Nashville Junior Scrappers kept their undefeated season alive Thursday night with a commanding 31-6 victory over the Dardanelle Junior Sand Lizards, improving their record to 3-0 on the year.

Nashville set the tone early in the first quarter when Jakari Starr powered into the end zone for the opening touchdown, followed by a successful extra point from Adrian Perez to make it 7-0. Moments later, Quarterback Mack Arnold broke free for another score, pushing the lead to 13-0. By the end of the quarter, the Scrappers had extended the margin to 19-0, leaving Dardanelle searching for answers.

The Scrapper defense continued to dominate in the third quarter, shutting down the Sand Lizards while Starr struck again, stretching the lead to 25-0.

In the final period, Arnold added another touchdown to make it 31-0 before Dardanelle managed to get on the board late avoiding the shutout, changing the score 6 to 31.

With the 31-6 win, the Junior Scrappers remain unbeaten and continue to build momentum heading deeper into the season.

This Thursday the Junior Scrappers will play against the Arkadelphia Junior Badgers. Kickoff is set for 7pm and B 99.5 will have the live coverage.
