Kell retires from Nashville School District

The Nashville School Board has accepted the resignation of Assistant Superintendent Joe Kell. Superintendent Doug Graham says his association with Kell dates back to 1986:

Kell’s resignation is effective February 28th. Graham said the district will begin advertising for the position in January and will initially focus on candidates within the district, before looking elsewhere.
In other personnel matters at the school board’s regular December meeting, held yesterday, the resignation of elementary math teacher Rachel Neeley was also accepted, effective December 31st. Superintendent Graham said Neeley is moving to Texas.
The board also voted to employ William Cox as a full time custodian.
