Lady Rattlers advance in state basketball tourney

At the high school state basketball tournaments today, the Nashville Scrapperettes open the first round at 10 o’clock this morning against Pea Ridge in the 4A State Tournament at Morrilton. B99.5 will have this morning’s broadcast.
In class 2A, the Dierks Outlaws will be in action this afternoon against Acorn. The 2A tournament is being hosted by Melbourne High School.
Yesterday, the Murfreesboro Lady Rattlers won their first round 2A tournament game, 43 to 27 over Cotter. Murfreesboro now advances to the quarterfinal round in a Saturday afternoon game at 4 p.m. The Lady Rattlers will meet the winner of a Thursday game between Des Arc and Bigelow.
