Legacy Academy Announces Homecoming Events

It’s Homecoming Week at Legacy Academy in Lockesburg. The Warriors will host home games this week, along with out homecoming activities. Tuesday night, Legacy’s Junior Boys’ team, Senior Girls’ Team, and Senior Boys team will host Gospel Light’s Lions of Hot Springs in a 1A conference matchup. The games begin at 4:30pm and will be preceded with a 2pm pep rally, to which the public is invited to attend. On Thursday night, the school will host a Homecoming Bonfire for the students and their families. It’s a fun night of family and food to share in community life and school spirit. On Friday, the Homecoming Court will have a special get ready day with make up and hair stylist and a special mom/daughter luncheon focused on inner beauty and the power of righteous living before the Lord. The week will culminate with Friday night homecoming events. The Homecoming ceremony will begin at 5pm, where the homecoming court and queen will be presented to the school. After the ceremony the junior teams will take on Umpire Wildcats in basketball, followed by a senior boys’ game against Bloomburg, Texas. 

The Warriors are currently 10-1, hoping to improve their record by two this week.
