Legacy Academy Players Selected for All State

Lockesburg, ARK—Two Legacy Academy basketball players made the HCAA All-State selection for the Christian school athletic association, while another received Honorable Mention. This was a welcomed honor for the young senior teams. The school’s new basketball program is showing tremendous promise and the selection, made by all coaches across the association and approved by the association, provides hints of success for upcoming seasons. To be selected for All State, players should have double digits in at least one game statistic, show leadership and good sportsmanship on the court, demonstrate excellent character, and team contribution. 

The following Legacy Academy players were honored:

GIRLS:

Dori Bartek, Lady Warriors #14, Sophomore
Average 13 points per game
Average 3 rebounds per game
Average 1 assists per game
Highest scoring game 32 points

BOYS:

Ethan Gallagher, #22, Sophomore (second year to be selected for All State)
Average points per game this season 27
Assists per game 2
Rebounds per game 12
Highest points in a game: 42

Honorable Mention:
Zane Minton, #42, Freshman
Average points per game: 14
Assists per game 1
Rebounds per game: 2
Highest point game: 31
