Legacy Sweeps Victory Christian with 4 wins on Senior Night

LOCKESBURG, ARK— Legacy Academy enjoyed four decisive wins at our home games Friday night, a perfect game night for the school’s basketball Senior Night. Before the senior girls’ game against Camden’s Victory Christian the school paused to salute their two senior basketball players, both Lady Warriors. The two honored players are #40 Jessica Nogueria, daughter of Brad and Darlene Athey and #32 Grace Tucker, the daughter of Scott and Jamy Tucker. The girls and their parents were presented team balls signed by all of their teammates, flowers from the school, and a celebration board made by Legacy booster and parent Ann Bartek. Legacy founder, Chad Gallagher and girls’ coach Zebbie Launius saluted the girls with remarks and the presentation at center court. Following a Legacy tradition, started with their first basketball senior two years ago, each senior signed a photo of herself that is now framed and in the school’s trophy case. This tradition is designed to reflect that the school’s greatest trophies are its students.
