Literacy specialist provides data of Nashville Primary students during NSD meeting
In the May 20th Nashville School board meeting, Krisanna Miller presented how the Nashville Primary school collects and shares the data regarding student growth and struggles. Miller shared with the board how this data is gathered as well as how it benefits both students and teachers.
Superintendent Doug Graham discussed the drop in the number of students, stating the district was down by 59 students. It was also discussed how this loss in revenue would affect the district. The effects discussed were the possible overstaffing and lack of funds for salaries with the decrease in students, in which Doug Graham stated some positions in the district will not be filled to offset the number of students and teachers.
