Local Candidate Filings

As of Tuesday afternoon, several local candidates have filed for re-election to positions in Howard & Pike counties. The Howard County quorum court candidate filings include Bobby Don Turner, Don Marks, Jerry Harwell & Brent Pinkerton. For the Nashville City Council, current aldermen seeking re-election are Donna Harwell, Nick Davis, and James Parker. The only other candidate filings include April Nail for Mineral Springs City Recorder/Treasurer and Robert Hawkins on the Mineral Springs School Board. In Pike county, candidates filing for re-election to the quorum court include Leotis Snowden, Seth Henry Kirkham & Jerry Fendley. An open position on the quorum court has also seen one candidate file as Richard Mohlenoff (Mole-un-off) has filed for the District 7 position which includes areas around Daisy, Newhope & Nathan. Wade Coffman has filed for the Mt. Township Constable’s position and Kerry Horn has filed for the Zone Two seat on the Centerpoint School Board. The filing period continues until noon Tuesday, November 12th.
