Local Coaches Await AAA Decision On Fall Sports

The Arkansas Activities Association will be meeting through Wednesday to determine if the annual summer dead period will be taking place since athletes were not allowed to work out for more than two months due to the COVID-19.

Beyond this week’s decision, Scrapper coach Mike Volarvich says public school administrators will be paying attention to June 30th when decisions are scheduled to be made regarding how sports will proceed in the fall.
