Local Events Bring Fun and Support to the Community This Week

Several exciting activities are happening in the Nashville area this week, offering both support for those in need and family-friendly entertainment.

The Glory Bee Soup Kitchen has announced a time change for tomorrow’s service. The kitchen will operate from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mineral Springs Church of Christ, located at 318 Bridgeman Dr. The menu will feature hot dogs, chips, and cookies, with a carry-out option available. Additionally, Pantry Boxes will be distributed to those in need. For more information, individuals can call 870-451-4441.

In other local news, the Howard County Fairgrounds is hosting a carnival starting tomorrow, March 26, and continuing through March 29. The event will run Wednesday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The carnival will feature rides for all ages, carnival games, and food trailers offering delicious treats. Armbands are available for $25, and individual tickets for rides can be purchased nightly.

Both events provide opportunities for the community to come together and enjoy some fun, as well as lend a helping hand to those in need.
