Local Family Encourages Community Support for Ronan Witherspoon in Junior Ranger Contest

Yesterday, KMTB and KNAS had the opportunity to speak with eight-year-old Ronan Witherspoon along with his parents, Zach and Erin Witherspoon, about Ronan’s participation in the Junior Ranger competition.

During the interview, Zach Witherspoon began by discussing some of his family connections in the Nashville area.

Erin Witherspoon later shared information about Ronan’s medical condition while also talking about her family background and relatives who live in Nashville.

Ronan then explained more about the Junior Ranger competition and the prize he could receive if he wins.

Erin also discussed the deadline for quarterfinal voting and provided the name of the family’s Facebook page where supporters can learn more and follow Ronan’s journey in the contest.

Ronan also talked about the types of animals he enjoys most and credited his father for building his custom wheelchair.
