Local law enforcement make water rescue

Law enforcement and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officers responded to a call Thursday night, April 14th, from Cottonshed Landing regarding a man being stranded across Millwood lake.  Howard County Sheriff Bryan McJunkins said he, along with Deputy Jake Eudy and Game and Fish Officer Keith Teague located the individual, identified as 37 year old Ronald Eskew.  Eskew said he had been fishing along the bank of the Saline River the day before, and got lost.  He was transported back to the Cottonshed Landing boat ramp and then transported to Howard Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
