South Pike County School Board

The South Pike County School Board met this week. Board members reviewed the 2021-2022 Proposed District Budget before voting for its approval in a 7-0 fashion. Superintendent, Brad Sullivan, presented to the board a bid received for a 14 passenger bus for use within the school district. The bid came in at $52,900 from American Bus Sales. After discussion the board agreed unanimously for the purchase of the bus. The board entered into executive session lasting approximately 50 minutes before returning and presenting the need to hire someone for Maintenance needs on campus. Adam Morris was voted 7 for with none opposing concerning the position.
