Lockesburg resident arrested on drug charges in Howard County

On February 8th at approximately 5:16pm, Nashville Patrol Officer Dillon Roberts conducted a traffic stop on an unlicensed red Chevrolet Blazer. The driver was identified as 28 year old Sean C. Bell of Lockesburg. 
According to the affidavit dispatch advised Officer Roberts that Bell was on parole and had a search waiver on file. Officer Roberts then conducted a search on the vehicle. It was reported that Roberts located a wash cloth containing a glass pipe with residue believed to be methamphetamine. Bell was taken into custody and transported to the Howard County Detention Facility. 
As reported Officers conducted a strip search and located a gallon size plastic bag containing a green, vegetable substance believed to be marijuana. Officers also retrieved a clear plastic bag that contained two unidentified pills from Bell’s mouth. 
Bell was charged with Possession of a Scheduled VI Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Furnishing Prohibited Articles, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
