Magic Springs announces Education in Motion Days May 8 and 15

Events offer hands-on learning activities and educational exhibitor stations

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (April 7, 2026) — Teachers, students and chaperones are invited to Magic Springs Theme and Water Park’s Education in Motion (EIM) Days Friday, May 8 and Friday, May 15. 

The Magic Springs theme park will be open May 8, and both the theme park and water park will be open May 15. Operating hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

“We offer these schools-only days outside of regular operation each year to give our educators and students end-of-year field trips,” said Jessyka Hanna, general manager of Magic Springs. “We’re proud to offer educational experiences and exhibitions that create an atmosphere where students can soak up knowledge in a non-traditional, fun way.”

Confirmed presenters include, but are not limited to: 

  • Air Force Reserve
  • Arkansas Game and Fish Commission
  • Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts
  • Bricks & Minifigs
  • Entergy
  • Hot Springs Police Department
  • Lake Catherine State Park
  • Little Rock Zoo
  • Making Math Count
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
  •  

Tickets for EIM Days are $20.99 plus tax per person, with an optional catered meal for $10.99 per person. The catered meal is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the park’s picnic pavilions. Attendees who would like to opt out of catering may bring their own bag lunch.

Schools that are unable to attend during EIM Days may visit the park on School Fun Days on weekends May 2-24 and daily May 25-31. These days feature the same discounted ticket price of $20.99 per person for school groups to attend during regular operating hours.
