Main Street to Come Alive for Nashville’s Annual Christmas Parade

Preparations are underway for this year’s Downtown Christmas Parade, set to take place on December 1st along Main Street in Nashville. Members of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce say excitement is already building as entries come in and new attractions are added.

Chamber representative Tina Carver says parade participants will have clear instructions on where and when to arrive, and the lineup process will be similar to previous years. She also noted how many entries they’ve already received and highlighted the prizes that will be awarded this season.

In addition to the parade, Carver says a special food court area will be open, complete with local vendors and food trucks. Those stands will be set up early and fully operating by noon to serve visitors ahead of the evening festivities.

Gail Hearnsberger says the holiday celebration continues to grow each year. Along with vendor booths and new additions to the parade route, Hearnsberger says SWA Paw will host a holiday bazaar as part of the day’s events.

The Nashville Chamber encourages residents and visitors alike to come early, enjoy the food and shopping, and stay for the parade as the community welcomes the Christmas season together.
