March weather summary

March experienced a below normal rainfall total, becoming the first month of 2021 to be drier than usual. 4 and 88 hundredths inches of rain was recorded last month, which represents a deficit of just under two tenths of an inch.
The largest 24 hour rainfall measured was slightly over 2 inches on the morning of the 23rd.
Concerning temperatures, highs were nearly 4 degrees above normal last month, while low temperatures were above normal by nearly one degree. 81 was the high for the month, recorded on two days. Last month’s low temperature was 30 degrees, occurring on March 3rd.
