May Trial Date Set For Nashville Woman In Sevier County

A Nashville woman recently accused of filing a false police report in Sevier County is set for a May 13th trial date.

31 year Casey Parker was arrested earlier this month for falsely reporting that her vehicle had been stopped near the Highway 70/71 intersection by someone impersonating a police officer. Deputies say as they began investigating the incident, authorities received information that Parker had made up the story as a prank.

The charge is a Class D Felony. Parker’s pre-trial date is scheduled for April 30th.
