Meeting Scheduled For Farmers’ Market Participants

Vendors interested in selling produce at the Farmers’ Market this year are invited to a training and public meeting early next month.

Howard County Farmers’ Market Manager Julio Fuentes says anyone attending the March 3rd session in Hope will receive a reduced fee for selling their items in Nashville, Hope or Washington markets.

Vendors will also receive information about selling to customers who use W.I.C. vouchers or the SNAP dollars.

The meeting begins at noon on March 3rd and will take place at the Southwest Research and Extension Center in Hope.
