Mineral Springs man arrested for drug possession
On June 4th, Howard County Deputy Trent Coffman was dispatched to a suspicious subject walking by the gatehouse near Cottonshed Park carrying a knife. According to the affidavit the suspect was identified as 31 year old Gary Clowers of Mineral Springs. It was reported that deputies located the subject near Cottonshed in Howard County, and Deputy Coffman observed a machete at his feet. Coffman then asked Clowers if he had any illegal drugs on him. Clowers allegedly confessed that he had a dope pipe.
