Mineral Springs City Council

The Mineral Springs City Council City voted to write off 17 past due water accounts. City Clerk April Teague Asked the council members to write off the accounts for accounting purposes only saying the water department will still attempt to collect any past due amounts. The city of Mineral Springs has recently had an issue with folks illegally dumping debris on the city burn pile. Water Superintendent Jonathan Holden reported the city has put game cameras up in the hopes gather who is doing this. Holden also stated the water department has used the city’s new sewer camera to inspect about 1,200 feet of sewer line. Teague also presented an invoice for around $38,000 to the council members for the completion of the Spring Street project.
