Friday night football schedule

Outside of Dierks, Mineral Springs and the Murfreesboro games tonight, there aren’t a lot of other southwest Arkansas teams seeing action. In the Class 2A opening round, Foreman will host Hector, and Mount Ida is at home against Bearden.
The Class 4A playoff schedule tonight features three teams from 7-4A. Arkadelphia will host Star City, Bauxite travels to Huntsville, and Fountain Lake will be at Pottsville.
Tonight’s 5A schedule has Magnolia at home against Pea Ridge, Hope travels to Morrilton, Texarkana opens at home against Alma, Fairview will host Beebe and Hot Springs travels to White Hall.
There are no area teams playing tonight in the 3A classification, which has just three games scheduled.
