Mineral Springs Fire Department Honors Dedicated Firefighters at Christmas Party

At the Mineral Springs Fire Department Christmas Party on Monday night, two firefighters were recognized for their outstanding service to the community.

Charles Deloney was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his remarkable 50-plus years of service to the Mineral Springs Fire Department. Deloney, a fixture at the department, has shown unmatched dedication throughout his career. Although he has served in many capacities, he currently works as a driver/operator. His long-standing commitment to the department and the community has made him an invaluable member, and this prestigious award is a well-deserved tribute to his tireless efforts.

In addition, Eric Marks was named the 2024 Firefighter of the Year. The award, voted on by the department, honors Marks for his hard work, dedication, and exemplary service. His commitment to the department and his fellow firefighters makes him a deserving recipient of this recognition.
