Mineral Springs Hires Interim Superintendent

Monday night, the Mineral Springs Board of Education held a special called meeting to hire an interim superintendent.

Following a short executive session, board members voted 4-0 to hire Billy Lee as the interim superintendent.

Lee is a former superintendent of the Blevins School District. He was hired on a six-month contract per the current salary schedule.

Board members also passed a resolution allowing Lee to sign checks for the district.

The board will meet in a special called meeting this Thursday, January 2nd at 6:30 PM in the new cafeteria to approve the minutes of the past two special called meetings.
