Mineral Springs Hornets Host Media Day, Introduce Fall Sports Teams

The Mineral Springs Hornets held their annual Media Day on Wednesday, showcasing their senior high and junior high football teams, cheerleaders, and volleyball teams to the community.
First-year head football coach Jarrod Jackson expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress during summer workouts since his arrival.
The Hornets are set to kick off their season in Week 1 on September 5 with an away game against Bismarck. While Coach Jackson noted he would have preferred to open in Week 0 on August 29, he said the extra week will give the team more time to prepare for the Lions.
Looking ahead to the season, Jackson highlighted two senior players he believes will be key to the team’s success.
Fans can stay updated throughout the season by tuning in to the Mineral Springs Coach’s Show, airing Thursdays at 6 p.m. on KMTB 99.5.
