Mineral Springs Hornets seek to skin the Lions of Mt. Ida
The Mineral Springs Hornets will be on the road this week at Mt Ida.
The Hornets have an overall record of 5 wins and 2 losses, while the Lions are 5 and 1. Mineral Springs is 2 and 1 in the conference and the Lions are undefeated in conference play at 3 and 0 (oh).
Mt Ida is coming off a victory over the Murfreesboro Rattlers last week, while the Hornets had an extra week to prepare for Lions’ rushing attack. Mineral Springs head coach Jason Hathcock said he liked having the extra time to prepare for Mt Ida, but he’s concerned about his team’s focus.
Mineral Springs and Mt Ida will kick off Friday at Lions Stadium at 7 pm.
