Mineral Springs man sentenced to ADC

A Mineral Springs man was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections yesterday on two charges in Howard County. 36 year old Joshua Scott was given 10 years in prison on a charge of Theft By Receiving and another 6 year sentence for a charge of Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons. The beginning of Scott’s sentence was backdated to January 14th.
In other cases from Wednesday, 34 year old Stephen Coulter of Lockesburg, was given a two year suspended sentence on charges of possession of a controlled substance. 40 year old Robert Hill, of Hot Springs, entered a true plea to revocation related proceedings following a felony charge in 2018. Hill was given a three year sentence to be served concurrently with another sentence he’s serving.
