Mineral Springs man sentenced to ADC

A Mineral Springs man has been sentenced this week to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. 33 year old Jeremie Barton was charged last year with possessing meth cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Officers said they found the illegal substances and other contraband on Barton’s person while investigating a call of someone waving a pistol at another individual.
Barton was sentenced to three years in prison. He also received a three year suspended sentence and ordered to pay costs.
