Mineral Springs School Board Approves Financial Report, Facilities Plan

The Mineral Springs School Board met in regular session on Tuesday December 16th, where members approved the district’s financial statement and Facilities Master Plan.

District Treasurer Frankie Tollett presented the financial report, showing a legal fund balance of $2,376,263.68 without certificates of deposit and $2,449,326.87 including CDs. The district’s total all-fund balance was reported at $3,135,865.18. The board unanimously approved the financial statement on a 6–0 vote.

Superintendent JonDavid Amerson then addressed the board, informing members that he will attend a workshop on March 3, 2026, focused on ratio recommendations.

The board also approved the district’s Facilities Master Plan. Amerson reported there are currently no active building projects, with a future bus shop being the only anticipated construction. The Facilities Master Plan was approved unanimously by a 6–0 vote.
