Mineral Springs School Board approves purchasing new turf for football field

Monday, Board members of the Mineral Springs School Board approved a motion to purchase new turf for the football field.

Head Football Coach Jason Hathcock talked about the reason why it was time for the turf to be upgraded along with the injury hazards that can be caused if they keep the turf that is currently on the field. 

Hathcock discussed the benefits of having new turf on the field and how it reduces the risk of injury and or concussions.

Hathcock mentioned they are selling ad spaces on the turf and where the ads would be placed on the field.

The options for advertisement are 10×10 sideline advertisement, which is limited to 10 spots and 25-yard marker advertisement on the field which is limited to 4 spots. For more information or questions contact Coach Jason Hathcock at 870-995-5418.
