Mineral Springs School Board Hears Updates on Free Lunches, Career Coaching, and Graduation Plans

The Mineral Springs School Board held their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening, where Superintendent JonDavid Amerson and Principal Stacy Gaddis shared key updates during their reports.

Superintendent Amerson informed the board that the district’s cafeteria will transition from the Provision 2 program back to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2025-2026 school year. He also announced that the district has received an additional stipend through Rural Education funding to support the hiring of a career coach.

Amerson also addressed the district’s ongoing school improvement plan, highlighting strategies aimed at boosting academic performance and overall campus success.

Principal Stacy Gaddis followed with her report, sharing important announcements related to student testing and upcoming events. She also provided details about the Mineral Springs graduation ceremony, which is fast approaching.

The meeting concluded with continued commitment from district leaders to support student achievement and strengthen the school community.
