Mineral Springs School Board Holds Monthly Meeting

On Tuesday evening, the Mineral Springs School Board held their regular monthly meeting, with Business Manager Frankie Tollett presenting the financial report for the month of October. Tollett reported that the legal balance without CDs is $509,882.58, and with CDs included, the balance is $538,247.15, making the total all-fund balance $1,658,219.42.

The board also addressed personnel matters, approving a motion to accept the resignations of Kindergarten Teacher Kasey Long and Paraprofessional Fredicia Hendrix.

K-12 Principal Stacy Gaddis also provided details about the upcoming Parent Teacher Conference, scheduled for this evening. Gaddis emphasized how the event will be organized to ensure a smooth experience for parents and teachers.

In addition, the board passed several motions, including approval of a purged assets list, which removes certain items from the school’s books, and the Bank of Ozarks wire transfer in the amount of $213,517.50, which represents the bond payment for Mineral Springs High School.

The meeting concluded with a focus on future school activities and financial planning for the upcoming months.
