Mineral Springs woman arrested on drug related charges following traffic stop
Felony drug related charges have been filed against a Mineral Springs woman. 41 year old Kimberly Parker was arrested last month during a traffic stop by Arkansas State Trooper Kyle Jones. During the stop, Nashville officer Greg Parker used his K-9 unit, Apollo, to conduct an open air sniff of the vehicle. The dog alerted officers to the presence of narcotics within Kimberly Parker’s vehicle. Police say the recovered a package containing suspected marijuana, three pills that were believed to be Ibuprofen, and one pill that authorities suspected to be Hydrocodone.
Kimberly Parker was arrested and charged with felony possession and misdemeanor possession charges. She was also ticketed for no seat belt and for not having a juvenile with a child passenger restraint.
