Monday Morning COVID Numbers Around The Area

By the end of the July 4th holiday weekend, Howard County’s cumulative count of COVID-19 cases reached 101. Of that number 27 are currently active. There have been 73 recoveries and and one death in the county attributed to the virus.

Hempstead County has 13 active cases and Pike County is reporting three as of the Sunday evening numbers according to the health department.

Sevier County continues to have the highest number of active cases around the area at 100. Their death toll also increased over the holiday weekend and now stands at eight.
