Montgomery County woman charged with 1st degree Criminal Mischief

A 48 year old Montgomery County woman has been charged with a felony count of 1st Degree Criminal Mischief. Mary Hinton, of Caddo Gap, is accused of causing damage on October 30th at a Glenwood business. Authorities say Hinton threw a battery against the building and broke out a glass window by throwing a concrete block. She then kicked the remaining glass out and entered the building. Prosecutors say store surveillance showed Hinton walking around inside the building and eventually exiting exited through the broken glass. She later entered the building a second time and was seen walking near the checkout counter.
